New to Mighty Kids? You’re in the right place.

Getting started with therapy shouldn’t feel complicated. We’ll help you understand what your child may need, what to expect, and how to take the next step.

You may not need a referral to get started.

Missouri allows direct access to physical therapy, which means many families can contact us directly for an evaluation without seeing a physician first. Referral requirements may vary based on your child’s insurance plan. Medicaid patients do require a physician referral.

Not sure what your plan requires? Give us a call. We’re happy to help you figure it out.

What to Expect

Give us a call or send us a message. We’ll listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and help determine the best next step for your child.

Your child will meet with one of our therapists for a comprehensive evaluation. We’ll learn about your child, assess their strengths and challenges, and talk with you about the things that matter most to your family.

If therapy is recommended, we’ll develop a plan based on your child’s individual needs and your family’s goals. We’ll talk through recommendations, frequency, scheduling, and what comes next.

Mighty Kids is in-network with many major insurance plans, including most commercial insurance, TRICARE, and Missouri Medicaid. Because benefits and coverage vary by plan, our team can help you understand your child’s coverage before getting started.
